What Are the Wheels on a Warehouse Cage For?

Warehouse cages cover storage, sorting, transport and holding of raw materials, semi-finished goods and finished goods. They serve as unit-load handling and transport equipment, as logistics returnable containers, and even as vending units, running through the whole logistics chain — a common sight in large warehouse supermarkets and manufacturing. As a storage container, a cage works on its own or with a forklift. Uniform dimensions and fixed capacity make stocktaking easy. Welded from steel, it carries a wide range of goods. It can stand alone as a storage container, transfer with a forklift, or roll on wheels. Loaded cages stack steadily four to five high for vertical storage. Whether stacked or not, half of the door mesh opens so goods can be stored or picked. The foldable structure raises storage-space utilization, cuts turnover and transport cost, and lasts. Add wire-mesh lids, casters, plastic sheets, bottom plates, towing gear and divider panels, and the use cases grow. Key points: cold-hardened welded steel for high strength and big load; uniform sizes and fixed capacity for clear visibility; galvanized surface that looks clean, resists oxidation and lasts; works with containers; stacks four high on top of each other; pairs with forklifts, pallet jacks, lifts and cranes for efficient work; foldable design keeps return shipping cheap; wheels on the bottom make in-plant turnover easy.
