When choosing a foldable warehouse cage, many customers do not know how to read specs like "wire diameter 4.8" or "mesh 50*50." Xintongnuo explains in plain terms. Start with a common reference: a regular foldable cage of 1000*800*840 has wire diameter 4.8 and mesh 50*50. What is wire diameter? It is the thickness of the steel wire used. Thicker wire means a stronger load and a higher price. What is mesh size? It is the size of the openings in the cage's mesh panels. Smaller mesh means a stronger load and a higher price. Different wire-and-mesh combinations price quite differently; choose by what you intend to carry. On materials: the main raw material is strong wire drawn from high-wire rod, commonly 4.8mm, 5mm, 6mm, or 6.4mm. Welded mesh spacing generally runs 50×100, 100×100, 50×50, 50×25, or 25×25. The bottom is welded from U-channel steel rolled by cold-rolled strip mills; the four bottom feet are stamped parts, usually two stampings welded together. Standard leg height is 100mm, with 120mm also available. The cage's familiar strengths: fixed capacity, neat stacking, easy stocktaking, rack and conveyor compatibility, stacking, wheeled turnover, and panel inserts to stop small parts escaping. Welded from cold-hardened quality steel for high strength, galvanized to resist oxidation, stackable four layers high, low-cost to recycle thanks to the foldable structure, and caster-ready for easy in-plant turnover.
