On the market, cold galvanizing is the most common surface treatment for warehouse cages, and powder-coated foldable cages are also seen. Dip coating is hard to do at the bent edges; Xintongnuo tried it before and the results were not ideal. For warehouse cages in damp environments, hot-dip galvanizing is the recommended surface treatment. A hot-dip galvanized cage does not look as neat as a cold-galvanized one, but its corrosion resistance beats both cold galvanizing and powder coating. That said, hot-dip galvanizing is pricey for warehouse cages, so unless a customer specifically asks for it, we usually do not recommend it.
